Tea Cat with Ink

Wanted to do something for it being Friday...  I've been mostly consistent with weekly uploads, with occasional bonus uploads.  Today I felt like going back to the roots, and sticking with my good ol' pencil, sketch-pad, tea, paint brush, and ink-pencil (they do exist and they are amazing).

I feel as though I didn't go into too much detail with depth of color, and there is very limited shading and blending (the blue didn't spread out as much as I wanted to, but then again I didn't hash over it with the brush nearly as much... 

I do like how the whole shaped and flow of the picture turned out how I wanted it to without any digital editing.

If I make any changes I may re-upload the results later, I was just really excited to get the lines and basics down.  This is (obviously) based off of my kitten Alex.

EDIT:

I went back over it with the tea and it blued up a bit more, and then I took a better picture of it with my phone.  I like these results a bit better.
